BML WEALTH MANAGEMENT FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

A fiduciary is a person or organization that acts on behalf of another person. They have a duty to put their clients’ interests ahead of their own to preserve good faith and trust. A fiduciary is not only ethically, but also legally bound to act in the other’s best interests. The advisors at BML Wealth Management are Fiduciaries as defined by investment law.

Yes, we are! As a fiduciary we are required to act in the best interest of our clients, providing assurance that we put their best interest above all else.

BML Wealth Management has built its practice around helping baby boomers plan their financial future. If there is one thing they have learned, it is that “one-size-fits-all” retirement plans don’t cut it. No two people are exactly alike. Your goals, dreams, and visions of the future are as unique as your fingerprints, and your financial plan for retirement should be the same.

BML uses The Retirement Fingerprint® Process. Retirement Fingerprint® is a customized written plan designed to help get you to and through retirement by focusing on five key areas of your financial life.

BML Wealth Management offers a variety of services including income planning, investment planning, tax planning, healthcare planning, and legacy planning strategies. Our goal is to help ensure your expenses can be paid month to month with reliability and predictability for the rest of your life.

We get to know each other, answer any of your questions, and find out if it makes sense to see each other again. You only need to bring yourself to the visit. You are more than welcome to bring financial statements if you have a specific question. We send out an information packet prior to your visit with suggested items to bring if you desire.
We have clients that have had an advisor for 20+ years, just hired an advisor recently, or that have always handled their own investments. At a very minimum, we will provide you with a second opinion to see if there is room for improvement.
No. There is no charge for your first visit or building out your plan, The Retirement Fingerprint®️. We only get paid if we decide to work together which is why we are more selective about who we take through the process. If we decide to work together, our fee will depend on the size of your investments and areas of concern. We will provide you with all information relating to fees during our first visit.
We believe anyone planning for retirement or currently retired will benefit from an initial visit with us. Most of our clients are looking to create an overall retirement plan that focuses on protecting and not outliving their assets. As an independent firm, we do not have a list of products or investments we have to offer our clients. Every plan we put together is customized to you and we pick and choose investments that are suitable for your situation.
